Definition

Scrum Boards in Easy8 help manage different stages of Agile development. There are three main boards:

Backlog Board – For preparing and managing Product Backlog Items (PBIs).
Sprint Overview Board – For monitoring active and past sprints.
Team Sprint Board – For executing daily work during a sprint.

Each board is interactive and role-based, helping users focus on what they need to do.

How It Works

Backlog Board

Used by Product Owners and teams to prioritize and prepare PBIs.
Features drag-and-drop actions and filters.
PBIs can be sorted by status, sprint, or task type.
Items are moved from backlog into active or planned sprints.

Sprint Overview Board

Visual summary of all sprints for the selected project.
Shows start/end dates, status, velocity, and work estimates.
Helps project managers check progress across multiple sprints.

Team Sprint Board

Main board used by team members during the sprint.
Tasks are displayed in columns based on status (e.g., New → In Progress → Done).
You can filter by assignee, swimlane, tracker, and status.
Includes time tracking fields and inline editing.

All Scrum Boards are available only if Scrum or Kanban is enabled in project settings. You can activate this under project settings > Modules.
