Introduction
This reference explains all available options when creating a new working time calendar or editing an existing one in Administration > Working time - templates.

Definition of Calendar Options
| Name | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | Name of the working time calendar. Required field. |
| Work starts at | Defines the start time of the working day. Required field. |
| Work ends at | Defines the end time of the working day. Required field. |
| Number of working hours per day | Total number of working hours per day. Required field. |
| Working days of the week | Select the days considered working days (e.g., Monday to Friday). |
| First day of week | Choose which day is considered the first day of the week (e.g., Monday). Required field. |
| Default calendar | If checked, this calendar will be used by default for users without a specific calendar assigned. |
| ICalendar file | Upload a .ics file to import a custom calendar file. |
| Import holidays from ICalendar | Insert a link to import public holidays from an external calendar file (.ics format). |
| Copy from | Select an existing calendar to copy settings from. |
| Copy exceptions | If checked, exceptions (special workdays, changes) from the copied calendar will also be copied. |
| Copy holidays | If checked, holidays from the copied calendar will also be copied. |
Usage Notes
- Fields marked with * are mandatory for saving the calendar.
- Copy from can save time if a similar calendar already exists.
- Imported holidays will help align your calendar with national or company holidays automatically.
Notice
Setting a Default Calendar will automatically apply it to new users unless a different calendar is assigned manually.

- Creating a calendar for part-time employees working only Monday to Thursday.
- Importing a public holiday list via an online .ics file to avoid manual entry.
