How to Work with Test Cases at Global and Project Levels

How to Manage Test Cases at Global Level

Step 1: Open Global Test Cases

Go to the Global menu >> Test Cases.
You will see all available Test Cases across the system.

Step 2: Use Filters and Views

Use the Filters to sort and view Test Cases by project, status, or other fields.
Change the table view using the Options menu.

Step 3: Manage Test Cases and Plans

Create new Test Cases using the New Test Case button.
Create new Test Plans using the New Test Plan button.
Use the sidebar to quickly access:
- Test Cases
- Test Case Executions
- New CSV Import
- Statistics
- Test Plans

Step 4: Execute Test Cases and Plans

Start executions from the list by opening the Test Case or Test Plan.
You can also open the Test Case Executions section to manage all executions.

How to Manage Test Cases at Project Level

Step 1: Open Project Test Cases

Go to your project.
Ensure the Test Cases module is active.
Click on the Test Cases module in the project menu.

Step 2: Use Project View Features

The layout is the same as the global view.
However, it will display only the Test Cases and related data from the current project.

Use Filters and Options to manage the Test Cases table.
All filters and actions are limited to the current project data.

Use the same sidebar and buttons as in the global view.
Actions will apply only to Test Cases and Plans in the project.
