How to Work with Price Books and Products
Introduction
This guide shows how to manage price books and products in Easy8 CRM. You will learn how to create price books, assign them to projects, add and manage products, and create product bundles. Price books allow you to sell the same product at different prices depending on the agreement with each customer.

How to Access Price Books
- Go to Global menu >> Administration >> Price books.
- The price book dashboard opens. Click Customise to change layout.
- Use the right sidebar menu to access:
- Price books
- Products
- Global price overview
Creating a New Price Book
- Click Price books in the right sidebar.
- In the list view, hover over a price book to Edit or Delete it.
- Click New price book to create a new one.
- Fill in:
- Name
- Description
- Brand and Product version
- Set it as Active
- Check the "update" checkbox only if this is a new version
- Upload file attachments if needed
- Assign the price book to projects. You can use the default CRM structure with regional subprojects or create your own.
Notice
Use the regional subprojects structure unless a different setup is required.
- Click Save or Update.
Quotation Template and File Management
- Price books are empty until a quotation template is added.
- Templates are Word documents using dynamic tokens that are replaced by CRM data (e.g. product name, prices).
- Attach the file to the price book for use in offers.
- Use versioning tools to manage and restore older file versions.
Creating a New Product
- Click New product in the sidebar or in the product list.
- Fill in:
- Name
- Description
- Product code
- Product category (e.g. Software, Support Services)
- Set as Active
- Click Save.
Add Product to Price Books
- After saving, click Add to price books in the sidebar.
- In the modal window, check one or more price books and click Save.
Set Units and Prices
- Select a price book tab (e.g. Services, SAP One Cloud).
- Click Add to define:
- Unit (e.g. Month)
- Price
- Currency
- Click Update to save.
Creating a Product Bundle
- In the price book edit view, click New bundle.
- Enter:
- Name
- Description
- Bundle code
- Set as Active
- Add units or existing products to the bundle.
- Set the weight for each product (e.g. 50% each).
- Click Save.
Bundle Options
- Copy and create new: create a new bundle based on an existing one.
- Move bundle: assign the bundle to a different price book.
