How to Use User Sales Targets on a Page Template

This guide explains how to use the User Sales Targets widget on a dashboard page in Easy8. The widget helps you track performance by comparing user sales targets with real opportunity prices.

Prerequisites

CRM plugin must be installed and active.
User sales targets must be defined for the users you want to track.
A custom dashboard page (or existing template) should be available for editing.

Adding the Widget to a Page

Go to your dashboard or a page template.
Click on the Customize this page button (bottom left).
Find and click the User Sales Targets widget in the widget list. It will be added to the page.
Click Save in the top right corner to confirm placement.

Widget Settings

After adding the widget in Customize this page mode, you can edit it right away using the settings form.

Once you're back in dashboard work mode, you can use the three-dot menu in the top-right of the widget to open the settings again.

In the settings popup:

Name: Give the widget a title (e.g., “May Sales Overview”).
Compare: Choose between comparing by “Price” or “Opportunity”.
Filter Opportunity: You can refine the opportunity data using checkboxes like “Is closed?”, “Is won?”, “Is provisioned?”, or “Is paid?”.
Users with targets: Select one or more users who have targets assigned.
Chart settings: Set the default view to Month, Quarter, or Year.

Click Update to apply changes.

Reading the Chart

Once the widget is saved and configured:

The chart displays the user target (blue) and opportunity price (green) for each selected user.
Period shown is based on the selected default (e.g., Month).
You can change the period anytime using the Month / Quarter / Year buttons above the chart.
