How to Set Roles and Permissions of Knowledge Base
Step 1: Open Roles and Permissions
- Go to Administration
- Click on Roles and Permissions
- Select the role you want to edit
Step 2: Set Permissions for Knowledge Base
In the selected role’s settings:
- Scroll down to the Knowledge Base (KB) section
- You will find the following permissions:
- View articles – Allows the user to read KB pages
- Manage articles – Makes the user an Editor in KB. They can create and edit articles and perform other non-admin actions
Tip: Choose Manage articles for users who contribute content and View articles for users who only consume it.
