- Projects and their assigned teams are displayed as color blocks
Step 2: Choose a Time View
At the top right of the timeline, use the view switch:
- Day – Shows daily breakdowns (good for short tasks or events)
- Week – Displays one line per week (most commonly used view)
- Month – Best for high-level planning
Switching views helps you adjust the zoom level of your planning.
Step 3: Use Display Options
Click the three-dot icon on the top right to open view settings. You can adjust:
- View mode – Choose between “Normal” (with full task/team data) or “Compact”
- Global events – Show or hide holidays, company events, etc.
- Skills – Show or hide team skills next to each user
- Fullscreen – Turn fullscreen mode on or off for better visibility
Step 4: Use the Timeline Scroll
Use the horizontal scroll bar to navigate through weeks or months. You can also use your mouse scroll to move along the timeline.
Step 5: Understand the Visual Layout
- Each bar/block on the timeline represents a team’s or user’s active time on a project
- Colors differentiate project phases or delivery types
- Hovering over a bar shows more details (task, user, duration)
