How to Manage Currencies in Easy8

Steps to Manage Currencies
1. Add or Remove Currency
- Go to Global menu >> Administration >> Currency >> List of currencies.
- Click "Add" next to the available currency to activate it.
- To remove, click "Delete" next to the active currency.
2. Edit Currency Details
- Ensure the currency is active.
- Click "Edit" next to the currency.
- Edit name, symbol, assign projects, and set as default if needed.
3. Change Project Currency
- Go to the project >> Project controls >> Settings.
- Under Currency, select the currency for the project.
4. Change Displayed Currency on Budget Page
- Open the project budget page.
- Use the currency selector on the top right.
- This only changes the view, not the actual project setting.
5. Update Exchange Rates
- Go to Global menu >> Administration >> Currency.
- Click on "Update exchange rates" to sync from ECB (limited to 22 supported currencies).
- For other currencies, set exchange rates manually under the currency edit screen.
6. Optional: Use External Services
- For wider currency support, use services like fixer.io.
