How to Add and Manage Attachments on Tasks
Step 1: Add an Attachment
- Edit or update the task where you want to add a file
- Use the file selection field to choose your file
- Click Save to upload the attachment
Step 2: View the Attachment
- The file will now appear in the Attachments box on the task
- A note about the added file will also appear in the task’s journal (history)
Step 3: Use Attachment Tools
Each attachment has five icons next to it that allow you to manage the file. These tools include:
- Online Editing – Open and edit the document using WebDAV
- New Short URL – Generate a short link or QR code for external sharing
- New Version of Attachment – Upload a new version while keeping version history
- Show Version History – View all previous versions of the file
- Delete File – Permanently remove the file from the task
