Introduction
The Risk Management module in Easy8 allows teams to manage project risks in a structured and visual way. You can identify risks, evaluate them using customizable metrics, and monitor them throughout the project lifecycle—either on a project level or across all projects globally.

- Risks module activated in the project settings (for project-level usage)
Steps
1. Access the Risk Management Module
- For project-level risks, go to your selected project > click the Risks tab
- For global-level risk oversight, use the Global menu > select Risks
Make sure the Risks module is enabled under Project Controls > Modules if accessing it on a project.
2. Identify New Risks
- Use the Add risk button
- Enter key risk attributes:
- Name – short description of the risk
- Category – the risk type (e.g., technical, external)
- Status – current state in the risk lifecycle
- Probability – estimated likelihood the risk will occur
- Impact – estimated level of consequence
- Severity – calculated by combining probability and impact
- Response – planned action (e.g., avoid, mitigate, accept)
- Assignee – responsible person
- Description – full details
3. Assess the Risk
- Risk severity is automatically calculated based on defined Probability and Impact values
- The risk matrix visually maps each risk’s severity level using color coding (e.g., red = high)
- You can customize matrix definitions under Administration > Categories
4. Track and Monitor Risks
- Risks are listed with sorting and filtering options
- Use filters for category, severity, assignee, or project to focus on specific risks
- Charts and status indicators give a quick overview of risk health
- On the global page, risks from all projects can be compared and analyzed for portfolio-wide management
