How to Define the Displayed Time Period

In this tutorial, you’ll learn how to set the displayed time period in Resource Management. This is useful for customizing your view depending on whether you want to focus on a single day, week, month, or plan long-term. Define the Displayed Time Period Tutorial
Step 1: Open Resource Management
- Go to the Global menu >> Resource Management or open the Resource Management tab inside a project.
- The default view will show a predefined period, such as a week or month.
Step 2: Use the Time Range Buttons
At the top of the timeline, you’ll see a row of buttons for switching views:
- Day
- Week
- Month
- Quarter
- Year
Click the button that matches your preferred view.
Step 3: Navigate the Timeline
- Use the left and right arrows beside the date range to move forward or backward in time.
- Click the Today button to jump back to the current day.
Step 4: Use Zoom for Detailed View (Optional)
In some views, you can zoom in or out using the zoom bar or + / – icons to better adjust the density of the visible workload.
