Prerequisites
- Access to Global Menu → Easy Buttons
- Manage Easy Buttons permission enabled in your role
- Custom fields to be used as filters must be marked as Used as a filter
Steps to Create an Easy Button
Step 1: Open the Easy Buttons Page
- Go to the Global Menu and click on Easy Buttons
- Click the New Button button in the top-right corner
Step 2: Select the Entity Type
- Choose whether the button will apply to a Task or an Opportunity
Step 3: Choose the Button Color
- Select a color to help visually identify your button on the interface
Step 4: Define Filters
- Set conditions for where the button will appear
- Only custom fields marked as Used as a filter are available for filter setup
- Supported custom field types include:
