How DMS Trash Bin Works
Step 1: What Happens When You Delete a Document or Folder
- Deleted items are not removed permanently
- They are moved to the Trash Bin, where they can be restored or deleted permanently
Step 2: Access the Trash Bin
- Go to the main DMS menu
- Click on Trash Bin
- The interface looks similar to the standard document view but with new command icons
Step 3: Restore Documents or Folders
- Locate the item you want to recover
- Click the Restore icon next to the document or folder
- The item is returned to its original location
Step 4: Permanently Delete Items
- Click the Delete icon next to the item
- This action will permanently remove the file or folder from the system
Warning
Once a document or folder is deleted from the Trash Bin, there is no way to recover it.
