Introduction
This reference explains all available options under Administration > Settings > General tab in Easy Project.

Definition of General Settings Options
| Name | Description |

| Application title | Sets the visible name or URL identifier for your application. |
| Description of attachments | Choose if attachment descriptions are required, enabled (optional), or disabled. |
| Days displayed on activity list | Set the number of days the activity feed displays. |
| Host name and path | Defines the full host name and path for your application (e.g., myapp.easyredmine.com). |
| Show dynamic filters by default | Enable dynamic filtering by default on supported lists. |
| Enable Easy Query Language | Turn on the Easy Query Language for advanced listing and filtering. |
| Attachment warning words | List keywords that, if found in file names, trigger a warning. Wildcards like “?” (one character) and “*” (any characters) are allowed. |
| Maximum number of items in Atom feeds | Set the maximum number of entries shown in Atom RSS feeds. |
| Beginning of fiscal year | Select which month the fiscal year should start. |
| Easy xapian fits | Information only: if Full Text Search by Xapian is enabled, further search settings are available. |
| Enable webdav | Activate WebDAV protocol support for file management. |
| Enable caldav | Activate CalDAV protocol support for calendar synchronization. |
| Delete locks | Option to delete all saved locks on resources when needed. |
Usage Notes
- Application title is typically your organization’s Easy Project address.
- Attachment warning words are useful to catch suspicious uploads based on file names.
- Enabling WebDAV and CalDAV improves integration with external apps.
Notice
Enabling "Delete locks" will remove all existing resource locks. Use carefully, especially in collaborative environments.
