Usage Notes
- These settings apply globally across all users, projects, and features.
- Authentication, Task tracking, and Files tabs often include sensitive configurations—handle with extra caution.
- Changing defaults in Projects, Users, or Display can affect how new entities are created or shown system-wide.
- Some settings may be overridden on a per-project or per-user basis depending on role permissions and modules used.
Examples
- Use Display settings to enforce a consistent name format and date style across the platform.
- Configure Spent time to ensure time entries cannot be backdated more than 7 days.
- Enable 2FA in Authentication tab for secure login policy.
