Introduction
The CRM module in the Administration section allows configuring opportunity workflows, sales targets, Kanban visualization, and default CRM behavior. It provides flexibility in defining how sales data is structured and tracked across the system.
Target audience
- Administrator
What is the purpose of this feature?
The purpose of the CRM module is to define and manage the sales process in the system. It helps set up stages for opportunities, assign targets to sales reps, configure Kanban board views, and enable supporting CRM behaviors. This makes it easier to monitor performance and keep the sales pipeline consistent.
How it is structured
| Tab | Description |
|---|---|
| Opportunity statuses | Define opportunity stages like Discover, Quotation, Negotiation, or Sold. Each stage can be marked as closed, won, provisioned, etc. Includes right panel actions: Add status, Set CRM fields permissions by status. |
| User targets | Assign monthly sales goals to individual users. The view is broken down by user and month. Right panel offers: Add users, Add all users of type, Add users from group. |
| Kanban view settings | Configure Kanban columns and link them to specific opportunity statuses. Each column includes Drop in status and a Column sum field (e.g., Price, Weighted forecast). |
| Others | Enable or disable core CRM behaviors like Show sales activity on opportunity, Display opportunities from subprojects, or Show item descriptions. |
How it works
- Opportunity stages are customized and can control visibility, reporting, and workflow rules.
- User targets track monthly sales expectations for performance reporting.
- Kanban columns reflect real-time opportunity flow based on defined statuses.
- CRM options allow for broader visibility across projects and additional metadata for sales activity.
