What happens if I don't migrate from Project Online by September 2026?
If you do not migrate or export your Project Online environment by September 30, 2026, Microsoft will retire the service and you will lose access to Project Online projects and associated data stored there. Microsoft does not automatically migrate that data for you.
After retirement, you should expect these Project Online/PWA-dependent capabilities to stop working:

- Power Automate triggers and actions that depend on Project Online.
- PWA add-ins, web parts, controls, timer jobs, project-site synchronization, and permission synchronization.
- Access through Project desktop to Project Online data.
This means integrations, Power BI reports, automated workflows, and operational processes that depend on Project Online may fail at the same time.
